Harold Lee Bothwell, 85, of Palm Bay, Florida went to be with the Lord May 29, 2017 with his family by his side.
Harold was a retired Chemist with Union Carbide with 35 years service. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Harold was an avid aviator, having his own plane for many years. He also enjoyed fishing and golfing.
Preceded in death by his wife, Auneca McDorman Bothwell; parents, Alex and Maye Morton Bothwell; sister, Barbara Nichols.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Eleanor Bothwell of Palm Bay; children, Gerald Bothwell of Cross Lanes, and Inger Rutledge (Adam) of Tornado; sisters, Nancy Stevens of Charleston, Zoe Collins of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Melissa and Holly; and three great-grandchildren.
Service will be at noon, Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV. Entombment will follow in the West Virginia Memorial Mausoleum. A gathering of family and friends will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Blvd W, Charleston, WV 25387.
