Olga (nee Kocaj) Gomulka, 99, of Manchester, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday May 29, 2017 at AristaCare of Manchester. Born in Newark, NJ, on December 26, 1917, Olga lived in Hicksville, NY, Linden, and Waretown before moving to Manchester in 1997. With her husband Charles Gomulka, Olga owned and operated Holiday Harbor Marina in Waretown until retirement. Olga excelled in cooking and was an amazing seamstress. The family enjoyed spending the summers in their summer home in Vanada Woods from 1940-1959.
Olga was predeceased by her husband Charles Gomulka and her sis¬ter Mary Storek. She is survived by her devoted daughters Dorothy Gottdenker and Tanya Gomulka, her loving granddaughters Stephanie Schmermund, RN and Dr. Nicole Gottdenker, and her cherished great grandson Rocket Callen.
A private service for Olga has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Popcorn Park Zoo, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731 or Serenity Hospice, 56 Georgetown Road, Bordentown, NJ 08505. Arrangements were handled by Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, Manchester, NJ.
