I was greatly saddened to hear about the loss of Dot. Dot was my first cousin and grew up in Elberton. In early years, her father, Fred Woodson, and my father, Harold Jones, Sr., operated a grocery store, Jones and Woodson. In later years, Dot, often worked in the family business, Woodson's Florist. My prayers go out to Dot's family. Take peace in knowing that Dorothy Woodson Caulder is in Heaven. .

Dear Dorothy,

Although I have never met you in this life I know that you were loved and blessed greatly during your final years. I've worked with your son for nearly 3 years now and not once did he say anything negative or discouraging about your situation. As a faithful man of God, he (and his wife) provided you the most loving care that one could possibly expect.

I am absolutely certain that his love and devotion is a direct reflection of the nurturing love you provided him from the day of his birth.

Your ministry to those of us in the periphery of your life who were witnesses to this unconditional love are ourselves forever changed.

In His Holy name.
