Billie (Bill) Gene Simpson went to be with our Lord on May 31, 2017. Family will receive friends on Friday, June 2, 2017, from 5 to 7pm at George Price Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 10am at George Price Funeral Home Chapel with Sr. Pastor Dr. Steve McMeans officiating. Interment will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery. Bill was 83 years old and a resident of Levelland. He passed away at Lynwood Manor Nursing Home. Billie Gene Simpson was born in Levelland, TX, on January 28, 1934. He married Wanda Lou Harris Simpson on November 4, 1952, in Lovington, NM. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather. He had three children, eight grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. He was co-owner of Radio Shack in Levelland. Billie Gene Simpson was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Lou Harris Simpson; mother, Zulah Leoma Hendrix Simpson; father, Thomas Henry Simpson; brothers, Otis, Horace, E.D., Frank, and Clarence Simpson; and sister Mae Ferrell. Survivors are his son Larry Don Simpson; daughters, Darlinda Jean Simpson Rogers; Lola Sharee Simpson Reese; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
