Joseph Patrick Brown, 57, of Port St. Lucie passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at his residence.
J. Patrick was born in Providence, Rhode Island and he had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past 21 years. He was head chef and owner of the Morning Glory Café in Stuart for many years, a favorite spot to get great food and hospitality.
He is preceded in death by his eldest son Michael Patrick Brown. Immediate survivors include his wife Laurie Brown, his son Christopher Brown, and his daughter Allie Brown. In Rhode Island, survivors include his parents Doris and Ernie Brown, sister Joy Maher, and both brothers Ernest and Wayne Brown. He was a beloved family member and friend to many, and will be missed dearly.
A Gathering will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Aycock FH-Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel, 1170 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Aycock FH-Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel, 1170 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. Inurnment will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, 1501 South Kanner Hwy, Stuart, Florida 34994.
Donations can be made in his name to the Epilepsy Foundation.

my prays are with you Laurie Chris and Allie also pats parents and family Pat was always good to me always there to help when I visited florida I still remember like yesterday he looking at Chris in the isolette after his transfer he was upset crying had him hold chris when he was ready almost 31 years ago seems like yesterday that's how I meet pat and laurie remember the good drinks dinners remember the restaurants over the years god bless you Pat
