Margaret was a bundle of energy and enthusiasm. It was clearly exhibited in her work ethic. She could walk faster than most in our U T Dood Marketing group. While driving from Memphis to knoxville she had a wreck off to the right side of I-40. I don´t think anything was hurt but her pride, but the peaches she was bringing to Knoxville went everywhere. Rest In Peace Margaret Love, Friend and Coworker

I have many fond memories of Ms. Margaret when I was a small child. I am a daughter to one of Shelby Co. extension agents. I remember always making my rounds to visit with her when there, she always had a smile, a hug, and candy for me. I enjoyed being around her and looked forward to my visits with her. I have memories of being her "helper" when she was in the auditorium. I remember her having/planning Christmas event w/Santa and many friends/staff members attending. Once we moved across the state for another extension position, she never forgot to ask about me. I always loved her and will always remember her hugs, smile, and the candy jar. Heaven has gained a wonderful lady. Prayers & Sympathy.

I worked with Mrs. Love putting on the 96 NACAA meeting and found her to be a great organizer and hard worker. She and her became my friend and supported me in this endeavor. Both of them were great people that I learned to appreciate and I'd liked to have known them better.

Margaret Love was always full of energy when I worked with her at The Extension
She always had a kind word or present for
Me. I had more phone calls for Margaret than any other agent. One day averaged over 300 calls for her appearance on TV. She also made my dream come true. She had a Lincoln and when Ken gave it to her
I told her if she ever decided to sell it I would like to buy it. I drive it often and think of her generosity. I have only fond memories of Margaret Love. I learned everyday from her spirit.

Thoughts of Margaret brings nothing but fond and pleasurable memories. As a neighbor in Jackson, she was always inviting. She had such spunk and shared so many intriguing stories from her experiences with work and family. She helped with my daughter many days when she got in from school and didn't have her key to get in the house. She was such a caring and loving homemaker. She has left such a beautiful impression on my life.

I first met Margaret here in Shelby County as a member of "Cordova Home Demonstration Club." What an ethical Southern Lady she was. She encouraged me to buy a Bosch Mixer in 1986. I did and I think of her daily because it's been on my counter since the day she delivered it. She loved her family. What a legacy she left for so many here in Shelby County and Tennessee !! Prayers for the Family and friends.

I had only a couple of chances to work with Miss Margaret since I was a Middle Tennessee agent. These occasions taught me that she was a lady of principle as well as a work horse when it came to work. Would not surprise me if she has St. Peter toeing the line by now. She was a grand lady who touched more lives that most will ever know.

Charles and Dennis: I have fond memories of working with your Mother in the Food Marketing program in UT Extension. She was always so full of ideas and life.. I recall she was coming to a meeting in Knoxville and had a wreck west of Dickson. Spilled the peaches she was bringing to us. She made the meeting and on time! Her energy and fast walk were hard to match. Will be praying your good memories of her will give you comfort in the days ahead. Emmit Rawls, professor Emeritus, UT

Margaret was my friend and my mentor. She was vivacious and always energetic. Ken used to say she was the only person he knew who could thread a sewing machine with it running.
My life has been richer, fuller and simply better because of knowing Margaret Love. I loved her and will miss her.
