Joyce C. Thomson, 78, Lincoln, NE went to be with her Lord and Savior June 9, 2017, after a 20+ year battle with Parkinson's. Joyce attended Eagle Public Schools and married Bobby Thomson on May 5, 1957. To this 60 year union two children were born, Lynette Becker (Bobby) of Denton, NE and Kristen Johnson (Todd) of Cambridge, NE. Grandchildren, T.J. Griess, Council Bluffs, IA, Tiffany Thurman, Lincoln; Whitney Thurman, San Antonio, TX; Sydney (Stu) White, Holdrege, NE; Isaac (Breezy) Johnson, Cambridge; Sloan Johnson, Cambridge; great grandkids, Kaedon, Kashtian, Rylie, Jaxson, Trevor, and Tyson.
Preceded in death by parents Hiram & Pearl (Gannaway) Phillips; in-laws Robert & Elva (Ostrander) Thomson; siblings Vincent Phillips, Kathryn Sterner & Stanley Phillips.
Viewing will be at Lincoln Memorial Home on Monday, June 12, 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Visitation with family from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at Temple Baptist Church, 4940 Randolph St., Lincoln, June 13, 2017. Memorials may be given to Temple Baptist Church-Camp Fund in Joyce's name.
