Charles W. “Billy” Sullivan, 60 of Charleston went home to be with the Lord Sunday June 11, 2017 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
Billy was born in Charleston on May 14, 1957. He was a member of Grace Baptist Temple, St. Albans; he was a member of the UMWA and loved working in the coal mines and was an avid fisherman and loved hunting and camping. He was a Boy Scout Leader Troop #6.
He was preceded in death by his mother & father, Virginia “Jackie” & Darrell Sullivan.
He is survived by his son, Christopher (Piper) Sullivan of Pinch; sisters, Jane (Bill) Hieronimus & Debra (Dale) Taylor all of Charleston; brother, Michael (Kathy) Sullivan of Charleston; granddaughter, Alyssa Dorsey; aunt, Barbara Campbell of Marmet; Uncle, Paul Matheny of Charleston; special Angels, Ashley Pridemore, Bryce Sullivan, Ashlinn Sullivan, Taylor Martin and Alexis Sullivan; nieces & nephews, Angela Warner, Daryl Taylor, Krystal Martin, Joshua, Caleb & Jared Sullivan; special friend, Linda O’Bryan of Charleston.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday June 19, 2017 at Grace Baptist Temple, St. Albans with Pastor Brian Dean officiating.
Family & Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the Church.
The family would like to thank the Doctors & Nurses of the CPICU 5th floor at CAMC Memorial Hospital for their love and special care given to Billy.
