Ronald D. Beach, 95, passed away June 10, 2017. He was born in Ionia, MI on October 26, 1921. He spent the majority of his life in Ionia, except for when he served with the Coast Guard during WWII. In 2012 he came to Raleigh to live with his daughter and be near her family, after his beloved wife of 67 years, Dorothy Marie Beach, passed away.
Ronald is the father of Judy (Paul) Hoffman of Raleigh and Steve (Betty) Beach of Fort Meyers, FL; grandfather of Jeff (Anna) Beach, Allison (Andy) Halataei, Ashley (Tavis) McElheny, Mandy (Brian) Lidgard, Jennifer (Paul) Briggs, Sarah (Lee) Hilts, Rachel (Brian) Peeler, and Joseph P. Hoffman; great grandfather of Garrett, Mason, Andrew, Jane, Daniel, Ronald, Lorraine, Viktor, Masha, Klaudia, Laina, Tess, Brock, Ava, Owen, Aiden, and Cole; and brother of Velma Courser of Ionia, MI.
The family will receive friends starting at 5:30pm on Tuesday, June 13, at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh, with a brief service following at 7:00pm. He will be laid to rest with his wife at Balcom Cemetery in Ionia.
In lieu of flowers in NC, the family requests flowers be sent to Ionia or memorial contributions in his memory be made to First United Methodist Church in Ionia.

Ron was such a sweetheart as was Dorothy. They were great supporters of Ionia Community Theatre. Now they will be together again. Our condolences to your family.
