Irini (Rena) Martin
Our beloved Rena passed away on June 6, 2017, at her home in Westlake Village, California, where she resided since 1971. Rena was born on June 16, 1934, in Athens, Greece and lived for 82 beautiful years.
She was a nurse and a Lieutenant in the Greek Navy who moved to the United States to marry the love of her life, Charles Robert (Bob), who died just over 3 years ago. She was a devoted and cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Rena is survived by three children, her daughter Roberta and her step daughter Sharon and step son Rick.
Rena's occupation was caring for her family, and her support was priceless. Rena was also a caring and tireless friend, always there for anyone who needed her. She was a gracious hostess, bringing friends together for dinner parties, game nights and holidays, always making each person feel special.
She was small in stature, but had a big love. Friends and family always left with evidence of her kisses on their cheeks. She was sweet, kind, giving, and loving. The bottom line was always love.

Bob and Rena were my second parents. Rena and Bob lived a long and happy life and I will always cherish the memories of time spent together.
Rena made the best milkshakes I ever had.
God Bless,
Maurice

My mother, 82, (who came to visit from NH many years ago) still remembers the lavender hand cream Rena brought to her when she came over to visit. It was such a kind and lovely gesture. Bob and Rena were two of the best neighbors we could have. They are both together again. Bless them.
