Frances P. Kilgore died June 9, 2017 under Hospice care at Bethlehem Woods Nursing Facility, after complications from a fall. She was widowed from her first husband, Lemar Stemshorn (of Indianapolis, IN). They are both survived by two children, Carol Catsam (Orlando FL) and Douglas Stemshorn (Indianapolis, IN). Frances remarried Byron Kilgore MD (from Fort Wayne, IN, now deceased) who was also widowed from his first wife, Mary Margaret Strickler, and survived by four children Barbara Harris (Santa Clarita, CA), Byron W. Kilgore MD (Tiburon, CA), Diane Bottum (Lafayette, IN), and Daniel Kilgore (Bear, DE). Along with Frances' two children, she raised Byron's four as stepchildren. Together Frances and Byron Kilgore had a 7th child, who survives them: Lawrence Kilgore (Spencerville, IN). The clan includes countless grandchildren and great grandchildren.
