Lisa, Linda and the entire Elrod family. I can't tell you how sorry we are to hear about Courtney. Just think of her going on a bike ride with her granddaddy Lonnie just like they did when she was little. I know he made many trips with her around our block. I'm sure he is taking good care of her and together they are happy.

One of the cutest and funniest times for me was when we were all tubing on the back of the boat and Courtney fell off and the ski rope hit her leg as she fell off. It did leave a red mark on her thigh and for only being 9 or so, we knew it hurt and got her in the boat, but she was okay. We hugged her and wrapped a towel around her. Consoled her and said you will be alright. She looked up at us, with those beautiful tearing eyes, and said, "I'm gonna lose my leg!!!!!!!!!" Lisa and I couldn't hold back our laughs. Just one of those cute moments that you remember forever!!! I know she is smiling at us now as we talk about it. Love you Court!!!!

"Cort" ( What I called her), always treated me kind whenever I walked into her job. As a contractor, there was/is always something else we can use... Cort took the time to be personable, and show genuine concern. She was not pretentious or phony.

If I owed, she call and say" just reaching out to remind you that your next payment is due, don't want you to lose out." What a jewel! My deepest condolences to the family and her work family. May God strengthen you as only He can. Much love to all.

Courtney, you have been apart of me for more than 10 years, every memory, every arguement, every hug, every laugh that we shared with eachother will forever stay with me. You knew me inside and out from, all my secrets, and alll my mistakes. Thank you for always being there for me when I needed to talk or cry or laugh. You always told me I was clingy but in a way you said you always loved it. Because you knew if no one else was there I would be. I had grown closer than ever with you in this past year and I will always be thankful for that. I miss you more than words can describe and and tears can fall. We talked about this day befor, and i know wherever you are, your happy. Please look over me and Gabriella. I'll make sure she will always know how much you loved her like she was your own. I love you so much coco, untill we meet again baby girl ❤ -Taylor Cwayna (tay)

My beautiful bestfriend. I don't know how I will continue in life without you there. You always made me feel so comfortable to be myself. You really taught me what friendship truly is. We went to ever school dance together! You would let me practice on your hair before I even knew what I was doing. I have a million wonderful memories of you that I will forever hold in my heart. I miss you so much everyday..... I will always be thankful to have a friendship that we had. You are the one person who knew everything about me and never made me feel judged. You were one of the most important people in my life. I will forever remember you as the beautiful, full of life girl who could make me smile even when it felt impossible to. Even though your gone you will always be apart of me!!!!! I love you with all my heart Courtney! You ment the world to me. My days will never be the same.
