Thinking of Ernie's friends and family during this difficult time. Especially my dear friend Natasha who, because of the love and support of her beloved Papou, is now an incredible wife, mother and friend. Sending lots of love.

I miss you Papou! I love you so much. You were the best fishing buddy ever and I'll never forget all of the time we spent together on the road and fishing. It's amazing all of the places you have taken me. You have the biggest heart and I will love you forever.

I'm so sorry about the passing of Ernie. The times I spent with him showed me a wonderful, loving and funny man who loved his family and life. He will be missed. I hope they have good fishing in heaven.

Most of my happiest childhood memories were with my Papou. Fishing, playing Nintendo, debating everything. I'll never be able to look at a butterscotch candy and not think of you. I still laugh thinking of when Callie couldn't say Papou and called you "my boo". Derricks whole family calls me Tish because of you. I miss you. Thanks for being such a positive influence on my life. We love you.

My memories of my Uncle Ernie takes me back to when I was young and would sit around the table and watch him and his sister (my mother) talk intensely about life. I will always remember of going fishing with Uncle Ernie and Uncle George and catching nothing:)

Oh how I loved Mr. Karafotias! I visited him less then two weeks ago & he looked sooo cute working on his air conditioner unit. I'm so glad I went in the yard before I left to hug him & say goodbye. Never imagined that would be the last time. So very sorry for your loss. REST IN PEACE Mr. Karafotias
