Alice Stebbins Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 19, 2017.

AUBURN - Alice Stebbins, 86, a resident of Auburn, passed away on Thursday night, June 15, at Clover Manor. She was born June 27, 1930, in Auburn, the daughter of Irma B. and Leslie M. Davis. They raised their four children in their home of 52 years on North River Road. Alice's kitchen table was filled with friends and family who came just to chat, be listened to, or to get their butt kicked in cribbage. She was a person who had no enemies, and she loved her friends without expectation. Loving to family, kind to people and caring to animals, pets and wild, she navigated life with a grace for all to see.She was a devoted wife, and is survived by her husband of 61 years, Norman; her sons, Greg Stebbins and his wife, Paulette, of Rocklin, Calif., Randy Stebbins and his wife, Deborah "Debbie," of New Gloucester, Mark Stebbins and his wife, Michelle "Mikie," of Poland and by her daughter, Terry Lacasse and husband, Randy, of Haymarket, Va.; grandchildren, Monica Judd Campbell, Angela Judd Newcomb, Jessica Bina, Karyn Lam, Lori Stebbins, Kelley Stebbins, Rileigh Stebbins, Sydney Stebbins, Stephanie Lacasse and Cooper Lacasse; and great-grandchildren, Nathan Vining, Ashley Campbell, Caleb Newcomb, Ella Lam, Easton Lam, Elliott Lam, and Rowan Bina. She was predeceased by her father and mother; her stepmother, Violet Davis; her brother, Walter Davis; and her grandson, Jason Gregory Stebbins.

The family would like to thank the staff of Clover Manor and Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for the exceptional, loving care they provided Alice and her family during her last days.
