It's been really hard with you being gone. We miss you so much, my mom misses you even more. These days leading up to one year of you being called home have been tough. I find myself crying randomly because you should be here with us, celebrating and enjoying life here - with us. I just think of everyone impacted by God calling you home and it's not for me to question but a little part of me asks why. You always showed up, you were always there for us. I told my mom I don't think I've ever seen you angry. You treated my mom and all of us with so much care and patience. I'm afraid tomorrow will be just as hard as the day itself because it still seems unreal, like you're going to come home and say you were just kidding around. We talk about you all of the time and so many things remind of us you and we feel your spirit with us in phrases that Amelia says out of no where and how she mentions your name in funny conversations. I'm so glad she remembers you still so clearly. Anyway, I just thought I'd post a few words in from my heart, hoping that maybe you're checking these from time to time. I can't believe you're gone, I miss you more than I ever mention and Ray often, out of nowhere says he still can't believe it. You were a great man and one day we will all be together, but until then, give my Papa a big hug and stay close to Uncle Leo and Auntie Teri. Love you.

Hi there.
Today is Sept 5th. Can't believe this is 3rd month since you left us to be with our Lord.
Ms Olivia Grace is now 8 months old. She is standing up on her own. I know she'll be walking soon. Our Lil Princess is such a happy baby.
Isaiah is now 4 yrs old. He is so full of energy and such a happy kid, except of course, when none of us gives him our phones to play with..LOL.. He will start school on Monday, Sept 11th at Kids Experience.
ZoZo is so grown up. I'm sure you're watching her put on makeup and laughing. She's always face timing me when we talk. She is one smart kid and a smart a$$ sometimes like her momma. Lol.
Girls sure do miss you so much. Hurts to see them in pain. All our Families & friends miss you.
Still waiting on sister's house to sell. I hope soon so we can get them moved to Stkn and have the family together. Say hello to all our families & friends who are up there with you. Keep watch over us, ok?

Hi John.
Today is August 10th. Headed to SoCal again. Thank goodness for Amtrak I don't have to do the driving. Of course this gives me a lot of time to think about everything. Lots to tell you about our little ones.
Zoie- wow, she's in 1st grade now. So grown up. On 1st day of school, Kris told her wish your Apa was here to see you, she said, "it's ok mom, we got this." She's so caring of everyone's feelings. Oh yeah, already giving Kris a hard time about homework. You know, she'd rather play first. ZoZo's definitely a natural athlete, unlike her momma..LOL. She's doing great with coach pitch baseball.
Isaiah- can you believe? He'll be 4 yrs old tomorrow. He's so good at video games. I can see a future gamer in the Fam. Loves music and dancing. Talking so much now. I have to remind him to slow down. Lol. They're headed to Disneyland to celebrate tomorrow.
Olivia- OMG, our Lil Princess is all over the house, whether she's in her walker or crawling. She's unstoppable. she'll probably start walking next month. She laughs a lot. Such a happy baby. Actually, all 3 of them are such happy kids.
Sure wish you here for all these special moments.
Oh yeah, Juls is back with Hispanic Chamber as Pres/CEO. The crew is together again..Juls, Alex & Laura. Convention is in a couple of weeks.
Keep watching over us. Say hi to my Mom, Mom Isang & JJ. Until next time.

It's been a long first month, daddy. We're still waiting for you to walk in through the front door, so Zoie and I can question you about everything you did, ask you why you're barely getting home, ask you what you bought us, etc....it's still so surreal.
I guess you were right, you do have a lot of friends LOL.
We miss you tremendously. Keep visiting us, but please don't scare auntie and I again LOL.

Good morning John. Today is July 4th. Last night we had dinner at Kaleena&John's. Sandy cooked a great dinner as always. WOW! Olivia is now 6 mths old and on the movie. She is scootin' and army crawling and is unstoppable. She loves to talk, baby talk that is. She loves to smile. Our Bubbas, Isaiah is running & playing all over. Can't stop him from talking. Of course, he loves everyone's phone & his tablet. I know you see them from above & you're probably laughing. You are truly missed. Have fun watching fireworks from above.

Hi John. Today is Saturday, July 1st. We went to watch ZoZo play her first coach pitch game. She did so good. She bats and runs the bases well. I know you're watching from above and cheering her on. Btw, the team name is the GIANTS. Of course, it is, but I think Dodgers would be a better name. LOL. Next story will be Olivia & Zaiah. Happy 4th of July.

My brother...life truly is too short..I must say though. Our Lord works in very mysterious ways. But I thank him for allowing me to be here in time to have this one last opportunity to see you and embrace you with that brotherly love.. They say it's hard for a person who has so many words to say but no longer can when that love one has gone.. I tell you now my brother you will be missed and forever loved. Rest in peace our newest angel...

Dear John, Wow, the days since June 14th has certainly been the hardest. Feels so unreal, like it's only a dream and we wake up anytime and you'll be right there laughing, or doing some project side by side with Juls working on Kaleena & Johnjohn's house, or playing with Olivia, Zaiah & Zozo, or just hanging out at home with Kristin, Jun, MaryLou & ZoZo.
I can be angry and say it's not fair or it should not have been your time yet or ask Why? Why you? Why now? Why so young? The pain will never go away, but I know that our strength and faith in God will bring us peace and serenity in the coming minutes, hours, days and years.
You will forever be in our hearts and beautiful memories. I promise to live, laugh, love with our daughters & Juls just as you would want if you were with us. I know you're watching from above. Come say hello once in a while, will you?

Its been a week since I heard you were gone and the pain still hurts as much as it did that night... I loved that no matter how much time has passed since I saw you, you still managed to give me the best hug and feel loved in an instant. I was thinking about Kaleenas wedding me and you dancing on the dance floor always good times when your around. This pain hurts and hurts even more that my goddaughter will not get to experience her Apa like we did, but we will make sure to keep your memories and stories going... and make sure she feels loved by you the way you were with us..Family get togethers will never be the same...but we will do our best to keep the laughters and smiles as if you were there... Love you uncle John...and you will be forever missed

I spent so much time with this family growing up and I couldn't be more thankful for all they have done for me. John was a great father and was always so welcoming despite the countless weekends I overstated my welcome I will always remember his generous nature, his great smile, and his love for his family! What a huge loss to family and friends and I send my love and prayers to all affected!
