Eleve D. Jaramillo was born in Questa, NM on May 22, 1933 to Bernabe and Florinda Jaramillo and He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War, where he was stationed in Fort Bliss, TX and later stationed in Germany as a truck driver transporting officers. He later met and married the love of his life, Antonia Casados Jaramillo, in 1962 in Taos, New Mexico where they had four loving children who were all the apple of his eye. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years and 4 children: Christine Jones her husband, Bob, Chris Jaramillo his wife, Bertha, Cindy Lopez, her husband, Danny, and Leslie Jaramillo her boyfriend, Lazaro Hinojos. Before moving to Odessa in 1982, he worked at the Molybdenum Mine in Questa, NM where he retired early in 1978.
He lived and worked the majority of his life in Odessa, TX as a local business owner of D&C Drywall until his retirement. He and his son (best friend) had the honor of spending 12 months on Johnston Island, Hawaii together doing industrial painting where he was able to do lots of fishing and came back with many stories to tell the grandchildren. His favorite pastimes included fishing, hunting, spending time with family and sharing a cup of coffee in the afternoon with his wife. He was a man who never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went. The importance of family was evident, and he will be missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the many nurses, physicians, and staff at Medical Center Hospital for their compassionate care during our time of need. Services will be held at Odessa Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Dennis officiating on Thursday June 20, 2017 at 10:00am.

Cindy, Chris & Bertha & family,
We had the pleasure of meeting your dad 15 years back when we did some renovations. He was such a nice man with a gentle nature.
Ben & I pray for you all to experience the tangible comfort of the One sent to comfort us, The Holy Spirit, knowing this...to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord. Your dad has gained. He is with Jesus experiencing all of God's best.
Much love to you all.

My prayers are with you and the family Tio Levy. I always remember the time you drove up to our house and you had your beard. We saw the Texas plates and thought it was Little Joe lol. Rest in peace Tio.
