Steele, William Joseph Jun 29, 1943 - Jun 20, 2017 Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Pauline Steele. Survived by wife, Irene Steele; daughter, Kim (Kevin) Brown; sons, Jason (Sarah) Steele, Sean (Becky) Steele; grandchildren: Cayden, Bridgette, Ethan, Eve, Adeline, Grace, Margaret, Sebastian, Eleanor. William was a Vietnam Veteran and proud Marine. He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad after over 30 years. His passions in life were his beloved wife, his children and his grandchildren. William attended every one of their sporting events. He was loved by all who knew him and never met a stranger. VISITATION: Sunday, from 5-7pm, at Crosby Colonial Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Monday, 9am, at St Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Interment Omaha National Cemetery. It was such a joy to care for Bill for those few short weeks. Meeting you, Irene, and your beautiful family was such a breath of fresh air. I loved coming into his room, even though I got stuck away from it for so long! I will not forget him and hope to stay in touch with you. You and your family are in our prayers for grace, comfort, peace, and rest. Zoey says she is praying for you.
