My heart goes out to Carl's family. I knew Carl in his "younger" days at Brown High and he was truly always a gentleman. I pray you all find comfort in knowing how well loved he was and respected. May God help you thru this time of sorrow.

So sorry to hear the news of Carls's passing. Saw him last at Brown High reunion a long time ago and not get to talk with much and lost track of. Was my catcher in baseball and I next to him at right guard on football team as he was the center. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. His loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers. Brown High School memories of Carl include his amazing wit, his laughter and his easy going manner. He diffused situations with great diplomacy and was always willing to lend a shoulder to cry upon to his friends. He will be missed.

Darlene, I remember you and Carl riding off in that golf cart on your wedding day and I thought it was simply a beautiful thing. Everyone there smiled. Then you and Carl honored me by attending my wedding. When I saw you both in that Chapel it warmed my heart and again I smiled. Although we haven't seen each other since my retirement and move to Florida, I've kept up with you through friends and Facebook. You're one of the strongest women I've ever known with a heart of gold just like Carl. Of course Carl will be missed but the memories of this loving, goodhearted nature will live forever in the minds of all who had the pleasure to know him. Carl is in God's loving hands now. As do all of your many friends, should you ever need anything just let me know. Skip (Silver Springs, FL)
