George Narcavage, beloved husband, father, and PopPop passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Born in Newark, NJ, George graduated from Our Lady of Good Council High School, Newark College of Engineering (currently, New Jersey Institute of Technology), and the Sloane School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. George's work in the energy industry brought him to California and then Colorado, where he made his home with his family for 38 years in Boulder. He loved the mountains, skiing, hiking, and exploring the world. George loved learning and enjoyed participating in active discussions on many topics in group settings and in print. Traveling the world and visiting family and friends brought George much happiness throughout his lifetime. He celebrated 50 years of marriage with his wife and travel partner, Carol, by recently enjoying a beautiful Alaskan Cruise and visiting with their nephew living in Alaska. Always generous, kind, and hard-working, George would help out his family and friends whenever needed. He was on his way to an East Coast adventure and 4th of July family gathering, with an extra bag packed full of gifts for the children and family to enjoy. George will be missed dearly by his family and friends who loved him.
George is survived by his sisters Paula Narcavage and Annette Zimin, his wife, Carol Narcavage (Bara), his son, Ken Narcavage, his daughter, Cathy Narcavage Bradley (Ben Bradley), his grandchildren, Natalie, Lucas (Narcavage), Jackson, and Will (Bradley), and many nieces and nephews.

George was with us for many years at our yearly Our Lady of Good Counsel summer reunion in Cape May, NJ. He was such a pleasure to be with and always had us laughing. We were so upset to hear of his passing. Sympathy goes out to his wife Carol, his son, daughter and grandchildren. He will be missed. Rest in peace George.

My sincere condolences to your family. May God "who comforts us in all our trials" (2 Cor 1:4) comfort you and your family at such a difficult time. I know God will help you to endure because he cares for you (1Peter 5 :7).
