Brenda Sue Brooks, 71, of Taylorsville, GA passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Brooks was born to the late Mr. Henry Law and Mrs. Virginia McEver Law of Bartow County GA, on October 29, 1945.
Mrs. Brooks was a loving mother and grandmother. She was member of The Church at Liberty Square for many years. She also worked for Cloverleaf Elementary School in the lunchroom for 32 years and knew every child by name. She was an excellent cook and her meals will be truly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Donald Brooks, brothers; James, Charles and Griffin Law, sister; Kate Smith, sister-in-law; Martha Law, brothers-in-law; Gene Siniard and Herbert Smith, James Brooks nephew; Eugene Law, Douglas Smith and niece; Nevada Law.
Mrs. Brooks is survived by her loving daughter, Kelly Ensley (Darren) of Taylorsville, grandson, Ryan Ensley (Erika), 2 great grandchildren; brother; Don Law (Patricia), sisters; Joyce Siniard and Martha Hale (Wayne) all of Cartersville, and sister-in-law; Carolyn Law of South Carolina. Nieces and several nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brooks will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon, Tuesday June 27, 2017 in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend David Baker officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be: Steve Law, Rodney Law, Rick Law, David Smith, Joey Underwood, Terry Siniard and Kevin Law. Honorary pallbearers will be: Michael Law, Russell Hale and Donnie Andrews. Burial will follow the service in Providence Cemetery, Cartersville.
The family cordially invites friends to a visitation at Owen Funeral Home on Monday, June 26, 2017 from five o'clock until nine in the evening.
