Heaven gained the best angel He could ask for on June 24, 2017. Our loving mother who was the best Mom! She didn't know a stranger. If you called her, she was there. She loved everyone and they loved her. She spread sunshine wherever she went. She will be missed greatly and by many.
She loved bowling, which she did for many years every Tuesday night since I can remember. When football started in September, nothing could pull her away from watching the Miami Dolphins. I can remember my Dad telling my Mom on a game they were losing, "here honey, here is the phone, call Don Shula." Carolina Tarheels was another big one. When they were playing, we knew where she would be.
Life has forever changed for us. We will miss her every single day. We know she's happy and in a much better place and we will see her again!

We are so sorry to hear this news. Our heartfelt condolences to Tina, Michelle and Michael. Your Mom had the most beautiful smile and her passion for the Miami Dolphins ran deep. I know that Mike was greeting her in Heaven, and probably with a fishing rod in one hand ! Your Aunt Nancy and Grandma Helen

Norma was and will always be special. We are sisters by marriage but that did not make it any less true. Time got away and we always promised to spend more time together but just never made it.
She will always be with you and you will fill her love in small things you do. Honor her as she did each of you.

So saddened by your Mom's passing. I remember when we all lived on Garner Rd. We were the "new kids" from England. Your Dad, Mom, and you all opened your home and hearts to us and made our first Summer and fall in America so memorable. Aside from family, you were our first friends. Your Mom making us snacks, lunch or dinner, riding in the back of your Dads truck, heading to your grandparents house for the pool staying up late and heading into New Bern for bowling night. That Summer was the best!
Thanks Ms. Norma for showing us love, the Carolina Cannon way :-)
Rest in Peace Ian Wightman

We were so sad to read of Norma's passing this am. We provided her Auto Insurance for almost 30 years. She was precious to us and we will miss seeing her in the Agency. No matter what she was going through, she always had a smile and an encouraging word for us. We pray much peace and many happy memories for all the family. The Allstate girls!
