I will always remember Sally's smile. As a child, I enjoyed visiting my Aunt/Uncle and cousins in Austin. Sally was a fair haired happy child who I played with like a doll. As she became an adult, I saw less of her, but always looked forward to her happy smile and friendly hug. She had a quite dry wit which reminded me of both her mom and dad. We were all so delighted when she found Lou and he was a loving, loyal mate to the end. I am so glad I got one last visit after Alzheimer's had taken her memory. While she was not sure who I was, she greeted me with that same wonderful smile and hug. She was still beautiful, loving Sally! She will be missed by her cousin "Patty" Peck Griffin.

I will always remember Sally. She was my friend as well as a wonderful writer. We drove together to many MWA and Final Twist meetings, and we shared many fun outings with The Final Twist group. She was in my critique group for many years and I admired her talent and her thoughtful critiques. She always had wonderful sunny outlook and I enjoyed her company very much. I miss her though I know she's in a better place and at peace.
