Please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of your husband and father, Tom. I was a classmate of his at Moline HS many years ago and when he took over the "obituaries" of our classmates, we reconnected. He will be missed by many.

Jan, Jenny, Steve, and family, Mom just called to share the sad news. I am truly sorry for your loss. Brings back many memories as Tom and my dad had a lot in common. They were kind, humble, and gentle men. I know he will be greatly missed by you and many. As I read the condolences, it was very apparent he touched many lives. Take great peace in that and keep his grace going.

We are so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. We fondly remember visiting your home some years back and the trip to Hawaii where Tom wondered off for several hours chasing pictures of the sunset. We always looked forward to your visits back home so we could share a meal, a couple of beers, and catch up on life. What a great guy! Prayers and best wishes to you, Jan, and family...LaVon and Judy Worley

Mr. Hulsey was a true warrior, I friend, kind and loving. and a man of his word. always offering to lend a helping hand. whenever I needed a part for my Corvair Greenbrier Van he was there for me. Whenever the Maggie's Valley Event came around, he would always offer me to share his room with me. He didn't haft to do it, but he did. That says alot about the Mr. Tom Hulsey I knew, and learned to love and appreciate. That was the Jesus in him. I am truly honored to have known Mr. Tom Hulsey, a warrior, a friend. To the first lady; May God continue blessing you and family, and forever hold you in the palm of his hands. If I can ever be of help to you, I'm as near as my cell phone: 910-850-0404 (24/7) E-mail: ([email protected]) I leave you with this memory Verse:(Psalms 23) your song: (Blessed Assurance) Do take care and stay blessed, With love and prayers, Always Jay Carrington.

We are so sorry for your loss. Tom was a great guy with a wonderful caring personality. He was a pleasure to be around with his wonderful smile and laugh. I was shocked and saddened when I got the e-mail yesterday that Tom had passed. I first met Tom at a Corvair meeting back about 1991. He was always so nice and friendly. I got to see him at some of the Corvair Conventions after I moved to Washington. I will miss sending my dues to him. Many Prayers for his family and friends.

Our Chardon Court cul-de-sac can never be the same without Tom Hulsey. We were inspired to work harder to keep our homes "looking great" but could never keep up with the energy Tom had! No matter if we were younger-----he could outwork us any day of the week...... His sense of humor and his sincere interest for all of our families was a real gift. Of course his "right hand", Jan, is equally loved for the same loving, caring attitude toward all of us. What a couple! We are devastated for Jan, Steve, Jenny and their spouses and children. Tom was so proud of all of them. We are praying for the Hulsey family and wish them peace and hope during this sad time. We won't forget Tom-his humor, integrity, and love of friends and family.

You are in our prayers. May his soul rest in peace.
My association with Tom was through IBM service. I met him in 1975 in a training class and worked with him for the next few years at various locations. We met again in Raleigh after moving here. I was interested in his Hobby of restoring the Chevrolet Corvair.

Jan, Steve, and Jenny... Our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. A good friend, and a great co-worker that really got my career with IBM going. Quick witted, always meticulous, and 'perfect' was close enough. He will be missed for sure.

I am so sorry for your loss. Tom & I worked together at IBM in Raleigh. He was so well liked and one of the most thorough diagnosticians I had the pleasure to work with. I particularly remember a skit he was involved in regarding hand made cardboard car/trucks that represented various software products IBM had. It was so comical and well done that the audience laughed to no end. I believe some of the cars still exist in someone's attic (probably Tom's). I treasure the book of photos I have of this skit.
Tom, thanks for all your help to bring NCP out of the hugh hole we were in. I pray your family copes well with their loss.
REST IN PEACE
