Billy was one of the best short track drivers, I snapped his window net a few times over the years. He was a changed man after he became a Christian. He was always good to me. I was shocked when I found out about his passage. Lots of good memories. My sincere condolences to Carolyn, and the entire Swaim family. In Christ's love-

Mr Billy, as he was known to our family and many others, was a very kind and cheerful man. I talked with him many times when my children got off the bus to come home. We always waved to each other and you never saw him without a smile on his face. My family will truly miss him and I am very sorry about his family losing one of the most selfless people I have ever met. RIP Mr. Billy.

Carolyn, we were so sorry to hear of Billy's passing. He was a true friend and over the years I worked with him, he always made every day better, easier and I could always count on him to play it straight. His sense of humor complimented my own and we got along so very well from the get go. He will be sorely missed and I'm so glad I had the chance to see him when you both came to visit. You have our prayers and best wishes.

Carolyn, I was shocked and saddened to read of Billy's passing. We ran into someone from your church recently and learned he had cancer. I know you, your boys and your entire family's hearts are broken and I am so sorry for your loss. David and I liked Billy very much-David commented that every time he saw him, Billy had a big smile on his face, that he always seemed so happy. Your family is in my prayers. Cherish your memories and the fact that you will meet again. Love you, my friend.

Billy was my big brother, mentor and protector. I learned from him. He taught me the values I needed in life...from putting family and country first to standing up and being a man. He taught me the skills needed to work on cars and race cars and I have passed these skills down to my son. I will miss you but we will meet again.

Dear Carolyn and Family,
Our hearts are saddened by your loss but Heaven is richer today because of Billy. We have the fondest memories of our days in Huntsville and being you all's pastor at H.B.C. Billy was one of the finest disciples of Jesus that we have ever known. Please know that we are and will be praying for you all. We give thanks to God who gives us comfort for letting our paths cross on this earth - we are better because of it. Our love to you all in Christ.

Remember growing up as the only little girl with a bunch of boys, a brother included, and I was just as tough as they were. Used to visit with Aunt Edith and Uncle Herman in the summer and you have to hang with them or get left behind. Love them all. Larelle
