Though Tommy had a stroke during bypass surgery he was vigilant in his physical therapy sessions and seemed to be doing well with that. I had just e-mailed him that when he felt up to it we would travel to Laurens, SC to visit Skip and Joyce Rikard ... one of Tommy's dear friends from Dreher high school and The Dark Horseman Club ... and have lunch with him.
Tommy was so good to Gloria and I know that she will miss him greatly.
Rest in peace.
