George was like a father to me, I was one of his dearest friends and he treated me like his son. I miss him every day. He was an amazing man, kind, thoughtful and a gently soul. He had an amazing back ground in radio and electronics and was a top Amateur Radio Operator, he was super skilled in Morse code which we hams call CW for short, He was both a commercial telegraph operator in addition to his ham radio activities, He was also very knowledgeable in radio repair and ran a radio repair business for many years out of his home after retirement. He fought with General Patton in WW2 and stayed in Germany after the war to help rebuild Germany's commercial broadcast AM radio network. He was a member of our greatest generation and to me a true war hero. He was so humble and treated everyone he met with respect and pure kindness. George traveled the world working for Wilcox Corporation and his stories of his travels behind the iron curtain in those days would keep you spell bound. He was a loving father , dedicated husband and I was so lucky to have been in his life. He had a great long life and will be remembered by so many for a long time. Rest in Peace my friend and 73'

George was a great person we met him after we became a amateur radio. Frank had purchased several radio through him. I could talk to him like he was my father which also repaired radio equipment.
