84, our loving mom, devoted wife, and oh-so-proud grandmother was welcomed by our Savior Jesus Christ and was reunited with her precious daughter Patti, husband, Edwin S Wolski, Sr., and many family members who were awaiting her heavenly homecoming early Sunday morning. She was peacefully freed from the bonds of earth at her home, in her own bedroom, due to a long battle with congestive heart failure. Words cannot describe, nor do justice, to the life and legacy of mom. She was a fiercely loyal friend, a guiding light, and a bedrock of support to all who knew her. It’s true. She never met a stranger and was a friend to all. Her most revered jobs however were that of a career (31 yr) military wife and Mother. She battled through the stress, worry, and sometimes negative military receptions of America’s warriors while making sure her children were loved and cared for during years-long deployments of our much missed father. Mom was born and raised in Holyoke, MA, before coming to the Tampa area. She was an active volunteer at Westshore Elementary and the MacDill AFB Chapel for many, many years. Before meeting dad, she worked as a chemist in Holyoke, MA. She enjoyed watching vintage movies, shopping, and grabbing a good cup of coffee! Mom was preceded in death by her husband of over 57 years, Edwin S Wolski Sr; her daughter, Patricia A (Wolski) Laswell; and many other dear family members. She is survived by her son, Edwin S. Wolski Jr; daughter, Cheryl A. (Wolski) Spence; six grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The visitation will be on Tuesday, July 11th from 10-11am with a service to follow immediately after at 11am at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Beverly’s honor to The Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements handled by Blount & Curry MacDill, 813-876-2421.

What a beautiful written obituary, Cheryl, Ed, and family So true. Your Mother - my dear "Auntie Beverly" - could never do enough to help anyone who was in need. She was kind, caring, supportive and yes a fiercely loyal person who always was willing to go the extra mile to make things better for everyone. She was so very loved, and although her earthly presence is no longer here, it brings such comfort to know the special loved ones waiting for her have undoubtedly embraced her with open arms. My thoughts and prayers remain with you. Love, Judy
