I had the pleasure of knowing Son, as we were colleagues within the Louisiana State Office of Mental Health and on faculty in the Department of Psychiatry with Tulane School of Medicine, and then also we had worked together at the River Parishes MHC in La Place. I knew him to be a generous kind gentleman, devoted to his patients, and always fun to be with in social gatherings. I know how very much he loved his wife. And too how very much he loved his two physician daughters of whom he was so proud.
