Glenna Rose Hamrick McGinnis, 82, of Supply, NC passed away on Monday, the third of July, 2017 in the SECU Lower Cape Fear Hospice, "Brunswick House", Bolivia, NC.
Glenna was born in Inman, SC on the 3rd of March 1935 to the late Fred and Earline Gordon Hamrick. She was retired from the US Postal Service, a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and most recently attended Supply Baptist Church as well as Sabbath Home Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Reid McGinnis; siblings, Gladys Hamrick her identical twin, Fred Hamrick, June Knight and Butch Gordon.
Survivors include Jeffrey and wife Shannon, Robert, James and Brett McGinnis all of Supply, NC; a brother, William "Bill" Hamrick and wife Amee; a sister, Sylvia Gaddis and husband Melvin; grandchildren, T.J., Tyler, Tanya McGinnis and two great grandchildren, Landon and Jamie.
Funeral services will be held at one o'clock in the afternoon, on Friday, the 7th of July, 2017 in the White Funeral Service Chapel, Bolivia/Supply. Interment will follow in the Galloway Memorial Cemetery, West.

My husband Terry Marlar and I Brett Strandquest Marlar worked with Glenna at the Post Office in Wilmington. She was a Special Lady. She spoke highly of her family. I'm glad to have known her and so sorry for your loss.
