CAROLE FITZGERALD

George built our first house in Charlotte and for years, we enjoyed family trips together to the Buccaneer in Myrtle Beach. I moved to Missouri eleven years ago, but made it a point to go see George every time I returned to NC for a visit, the most recent just this April. He was a dear, faithful friend, a fun-loving person who loved to dance and enjoy being with his friends. My love and deepest sympathy to Betty, Tracy, Teresa, Randy and Ronald and their families. I will truly miss George! Love, Carole Fitzgerald (Wildwood, MO)

Hoyle and Carolyn Griffin

So many memories have consumed our hearts and minds since we heard of George's passing. He was such a dear friend to the Digh family. I will never forget how he helped our family when my father was in a bad wreck when we first moved to Sandy Ridge. He made sure Mother and I got to the hospital every day. When Hoyle was a little boy he delighted in hanging around George and Hoyle helped him with carpentry and things in the yard. He will be missed by many people.
