Donna Rae Bray, 66, of Westfield, N.C., passed away Friday, July 7, 2017, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, N.C.
She was born June 28, 1951, in Danville, VA., to the late Hoover Ray Meeks and Barbara Rose Scearce Meeks of Kernersville, N.C. She was preceded in death by one son, Larry Dewayne Meeks; one sister, Teresa Ann Shanahan.
Donna worked for Kmart as a manager for 22 years.
She is survived by her children; Jennifer (Todd Farmer) Carter of Madison, N.C. and Ronald Lee (Michelle) Meeks of Lexington, N.C.; sisters, Tammy (Tim) Law of Hillsboro, N.C. and Victoria Lee (Robert) Burch of Kentucky; brothers, Hoover "Ray" (Susan) Meeks of Fieldale, VA., Joel (Brenda) Meeks of Ridgeway, VA., and James Randolph (Donna) Meeks of Hillsboro, N.C.; five grandchildren, Brittany, Whitney, Justin, Hunter, and Darren; 4 great grandchildren, Kaylee, Tinleigh, Kensleigh and Lyndsey.
Family will receive friends Monday 10:30 am to 11 am at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home, 109 Broad St., Martinsville, 24112, with services to follow at 11 am with Pastor Mark Smith, officiating. Burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
