I have had the pleasure to Know Mrs. Adeline for a very long time now. First with her working with my Mother, Louise Poole, and then with my husband, Harvey Lowe, when he hung out with Tony. I enjoyed going to Emerson Baptist Church with her in the old Emerson Church and never have I ever saw her when she didn't have a smile on her face. I hadn't saw her in several years and was in the grocery store one day and there she was. YEAP!!! SHE REMEMBERED ME!!! I though WOW how AWESOME is that at her age and she still knew who i was. God has truly gained an Angel. We will all miss you Mrs. Adeline but will see you again on the other side. I LOVE YOU MRS. ADELINE!!!

Mrs. Adeline was a member of Constructors for Christ. In the past, she travelled with us to build churches during this particular week during July.

We are on site (Rosalie, Alabama) right now rebuilding a church that was taken away in a tornado this past November. While Mrs. Adeline hasn't been able to travel for some time, she most certainly sent us with prayers and well wishes and wanted to know all about it in recent years!

She ran the kitchen with expertise and skill and taught us all. What fun she had when her daughters joined her. We all enjoyed wonderful mission trips filled with hard work and loving fellowship.

Our group heard of her passing just as we were leaving town this year, en route for another CFC trip. We are remembering fondly this week of how we enjoyed such a wonderful, smart, kind and fun lady.

She blessed us and encouraged us and we will miss her. While we are sorry not to be home to attend services, I'm sure Mrs. Adeline would have it no other way than for us to be on the mission field and serving others. She was our example and we dearly loved her. Our condolences to the entire Evans family and please know our hearts and prayers will be with you.

I will especially miss passing her house or stopping to visit on the porch in times past on the way from school at Emerson. She was always interesting in conversation, had a beautiful smile, was caring and a delight to be around.

May God bless all who knew and loved Mrs. Adeline.
