Sandra Lee Reed departed this life on Saturday, July 8, 2017. Sandra Lee Reed was born on June 29, 1948 in Washington, DC to Stanley L. & Mary E. Reed.
She lived most of her life in Brentwood, Maryland. She graduated from Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, Maryland in 1966. She worked for the Post Office in the late 1960's and early 1970's, Town of Brentwood and served on the Brentwood Town Council in the late 1990's and early 2000's. She also worked as an elementary school teacher's aide in the early 2000's. She was a member of the Mount Rainier United Methodist Church for many years. She also enjoyed working word search puzzles.
She was predeceased by her father Stanley L. Reed on February 16, 1993;her mother Mary E. Reed on February 7, 2015 and her brother-in-law Raymond G. Henry on July 12, 2007. She is survived by her sons Keith Herbert (Maria) and Paul Herbert (Annette Lanier); grandchildren Mary Ellen Herbert and Scott Herbert; niece Jennifer Warren (Brian); nephew Daniel Henry (Carole Keeler); and great nephews Bryce Warren and Ayden Warren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
