Mocksville- Ricky Leonard Harrison was born on May 27, 1958, in Lexington, NC, the son of Thomas L. Harrison and Annie Gabard Harrison.
Ricky was of the Baptist faith, attending Yadkin College Baptist Church in Lexington. He worked as a finishing carpenter for all of his life, and worked for Ricky Owens the last ten years of his life. Ricky loved fishing, especially in Santee, SC, traveling and woodworking. He was an avid NASCAR fan but above all else Ricky cherished and loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Leonard Harrison; brother, Terry Potts; and first wife, Deborah K. Harrison.
Left to cherish Ricky's memory are his wife, Deborah A. Harrison; sons, Scott Harrison (Jennifer), and Chris Harrison (Cassidi); daughter, Misty Shaw (Tommy); stepchildren, Georgianna Romano and Alexandria Romano; grandchildren, Brookelynn Harrison, Ian Stamey, Austin Harrison, and Brandon Harrison; two great-grandsons; mother, Annie Gabard Harrison; brothers, Jeff Harrison (Deb); sisters, Lisa Sink and (Randy), and Cindy Lucas and (David) and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Psalm 91 Church 930 Michael Rd, Lexington, NC 27295 on Saturday July 29, 2017 at 3:00 PM.
