I enjoyed many weekends spending the night with Grandma and Grandpa Ellis. I would hang out with them both enjoyed church and playing with grandmas beauty salon. We would sit and talk for hours when I would spend the night. I have been blessed to be a part of the Ellis family and do cherish all the holidays and time we all spent together throughout my teen years. You will be truly missed Grandpa Ellis.

Your life was an example to all who loved you. You have left a living legacy behind. I remember that night back in 1976 when the Holy Spirit spoke to you and you came forward to accept Christ. This came after years of a faithlful wife praying . How grateful I am to have been loved by you and Louise. And thankful to know your eternity is secured in your Heavenly home. Rest high on that mountain.

We cherished every moment we had with you, Grandpa. From family barbecues, to you singing your little songs to all of us, to Sizzler trips, to your trip to San Diego where we went out on the bay and you told us we were freezing you and GG Barbara every moment was filled with love and laughter. You were our family's compass always there to give guidance and direction, we are forever grateful. Your legacy of hard work, family love, and your independent spirit will be continued in the next generation. We will miss you dearly, but know that you are finally home in peace. We love you Grandpa!! Tu-da-lup, Tu-da-lup!

Uncle Herb was a very nice man, and always had a smile on his face when you seen him. I hadn't seen him in years but it doesn't change the memories you have of him. Time has a way of getting away from you and your daily life of the hustle and bustle. I know that he is in peace in heaven, and we will all be together some day where there isn't any hectic schedules to be on. My condolences go out to Tommy with love and sympathy.
