Dalia Montez Molina, 70, loving mother of four went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 14, 2017, after her long, courageous battle with cancer.
Born August 19, 1946 in Alice, Texas, Dalia grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, graduating from Trimble Tech High School.
A woman with an incredible gift of laughter that could make anyone smile, Dalia had a great love for her family, music and dancing. She loved gardening and sewing, cooking for her family, spending time with her precious grandchildren and having get-togethers at home. Dalia devoted many years volunteering for the Camp Fire Girls organization. Dalia was an active parishioner of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Burleson.
She is survived by her husband, Ray; her four children: two sons, Ray “Chato”, Jr (Jutta Lornson) from Killeen, TX and Orlando (Nancy) from Saginaw, TX; two daughters, Josie Geisler (Stan) and Maria Elena Stewart (Martin Castellanos), both from Burleson; 11 grandchildren: Olivia (Chris), Scarlett, Kayley, J.J. (Emily), Nadja, Catherine, Salome, Ariana, Samuel, Noah and Sara; 5 great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Andrew, Emma, Lily and Lucas; her brother, Eloy Montes of Joshua, TX; and sister, Juanita Snell of Fort Worth, TX.
Visitation: Tuesday, July 18 from 6 to 8 pm with Rosary at 7 pm, Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth, TX.
Mass: Wednesday, July 19 at 10 am at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 100 SW Alsbury Blvd, Burleson, TX.
Interment: Laurel Land Cemetery
