Francis J. "Pete" LeJeune, 89, of Fremont died Thursday, July 13, 2017 at The Rutherford House. He was born March 12, 1928 in Ann Arbor, MI the son of Margaret Robitski. Pete was adopted and raised by Ludwig and Josephine LeJeune. On August 26, 1950, he married Rose Marie Lochotzki in Fremont, and they maintained a lifelong companionship.
Pete worked at the Fremont Foundry, Peter Eckrich & Son, Pioneer Sugar and retired from H.J. Heinz, he also worked as a Union Brick Layer.

He is survived by his children, Annette (Ron) Carnicom of Helena, Ohio, Joe (Mary) LeJeune of Fremont, Amy (Steve) Feasel of LaPorte, Indiana, Marian Erchenbrecher of Fremont, Mark (Marty Zyski) LeJeune of Fremont, Chris (Tedi) LeJeune of Port Clinton, John (Tonnie) LeJeune of Fremont, and Ted (Lisa) LeJeune of Fremont; 27 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 3 great- great- grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother and parents; daughter, Teresa Olmstead; son, Clair; granddaughter, Angela (Eberly) Heimert, and infant grandson, Michael LeJeune.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 11-1:00P.M. at Keller-Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00P.M. at the funeral home with Deacon Bill Lochotzki officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Promedica Hospice of Memorial Hospital or Sandusky County Humane Society. Online condolences may be expressed at www.kkchud.com
