COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Margaret S. Livingston, 70, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Livingston died Sunday, July 16, 2017. Born in Sumter, S.C., she was a daughter of the late William James Sohn and Sarah Davis Sohn. A graduate of Cardinal Newman High School, she attended Lander University and graduated from Palmer Junior College. She retired with over 30 years of service as an Administrative Assistant for South Carolina Department of Mental Health. She was an avid Gamecocks fan and loved her many cats.
Surviving are her daughter, Donna M. Livingston of Columbia; her brother, Will J. Sohn of Columbia; nieces, Kelli S. Montgomery (John), Jennifer S. Browder (Jamie), both of Columbia, and Angela S. Works (John) of Mt. Pleasant; and five grand-nieces and two grand-nephews whom she dearly loved. She was predeceased by her brother, Paul T. Sohn.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or a local animal shelter of one’s choice.
