Say not in grief, "he is no more"
but in thankfulness,
"that he was."

I'm Fine
Don't grieve for me for me, for now I'm free
I've left behind some misery,
My days of youthful agility were no longer a possibility
My weak joints and cloudy eyes were longing for heavenly skies.
Before I lost all dignity, you let me into eternity.
Don't grieve for me, you've set me free.
Just remember me how I used to be.

I'll always remember and love my kid brother, Dave. We enjoyed many good times together especially when Dave played his guitar and we sang Marty Robbins' songs, especially "Strawberry Roan." Dave told me about a time when he was in Viet Nam and he and some of his buddies were sitting around the campfire singing, while Dave played his guitar. One of his buddies said, "I bet you don't know Strawberry Roan" and Dave grinned and started playing and singing it. Mary, if there is ever anything Beth and I can do for you, don't hesitate to call.
