Charley Wayne Bechel, 73, of Hot Springs passed away on July 17, 2017. He was born on June 24, 1944, in Golden Lake, Arkansas to the late Raymond and Maggie Bechel.
Charley was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a beautiful heart and always had an open door.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Lora Wilson Bechel; sons, Wayne Bechel (Alicia), Johnny Ray Bechel, James Bechel (Tammy)and Michael Bechel (Melanie); daughter, Lisa Kay Threadgill; brothers, Frank Bechel (Brenda), Jerry Bechel (Nancy); grandchildren, Gracie Bechel, Tyler Bechel, Maggie Allensworth (James), Raymond Bechel, Beth Szmuc (Jacob), Ray Seastrunk; great grandchildren, James Ray Allensworth, Brooklyn Allensworth, Ryne Szmuc and his four legged companion, Bandit.
Meeting Charley in heaven is his sister, Betty Mauppias; brothers, Joe, Jim and Ray Bechel and grandson, Darrell Bechel.
A gathering will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
