Gloria Jean Palumbo, 76, of Winter Park, FL, passed away July 16, 2017. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, on May 11, 1941.
She was married to Michael John Palumbo, Sr. on May 29, 1971.
Gloria served as a homemaker, a preschool teacher, and worked in the service industry.
She had a passion for gardening, crossword word puzzles, traveling, and good coffee. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, was a consummate hostess, and lived for her family.
She was survived by her daughters, Sandra Pfost, Sheryl Dwyer, and Michaella Palumbo, her sons, Henry Palumbo and Michael Palumbo Jr., her grandchildren Robert Howell, Cassie Beckman, Lauryn Pfost, Cody Palumbo, Corey Palumbo, Edward Dwyer, and Madelyn Dwyer, her great grandchild, Lucas Beckman, her sister Christine Moore, and her brother John Kovach.
Funeral arrangements will be held from 1:00pm-3:00pm, Saturday July 22, 2017, at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, followed by graveside services, at 3:30pm, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Gloria’s name to Hospice of the Comforter, in Altamonte Springs. hospiceofthecomforter.org
