David Clayton Conrad, born on November 17, 1975, a kind-hearted soul taken too soon, passed away suddenly at his home on July 16, 2017. David was a free spirit, who had an infectious smile, a comforting hug, a huge compassionate heart with a love of the outdoors, animals, reading and music. David attended Berne Union High School, enjoyed special times mushroom hunting with Grandma Harrison and attending Native American Pow-Wows.
David is survived by his parents, Marvin and Carol Conrad; children, Christopher, fiancé Drake, Arienna, Arrayah and Jasper; brother, Jason (Kerra); special friend, Melody Caldwell; fiancé Kim Young and his beloved dog, Stella Rose. David is also survived by aunts, Barb (Tina) and Susie Harrison; uncles, Bruce (Marie) Harrison, Don (Kathy), Karl and Steve (Barb) Conrad; many cousins, nephews, friends and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Jack and Wilma Harrison, Ned and Mary Conrad and cousin, Ryan Conrad.
A Remembrance Memorial will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 2-5 pm at the VFW, 116 Perry Street, Lancaster, OH. The eulogy presented by Pastor Marvin Grubb will be at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the "David Conrad Memorial Fund", for funeral expenses, at Fairfield Federal Savings and Loan, c/o Marvin Conrad, 111 East Main Street, Lancaster, OH 43130. Arrangements have been handled through HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME.
