Vivian B. Graham, 88, of Tallahassee died Sunday (7/23) at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. A native of Winston-Salem, NC, she grew up in Spartanburg. Vivian had been a member of the U.S. Navy and worked in Telecommunications while in the service as well as serving at the Pentagon. When she left the Navy she went to work for Southern Bell Phone Company as a long distance operator. She enjoyed all types of arts and crafts including crocheting and collecting dolls. She also worked on crossword puzzles and her favorite TV shows were MASH and Perry Mason. Following their enlistments, she and her husband, James, left Homestead, FL and lived on a farm in Williston prior to coming to Tallahassee in 2015.
Preceded in death by her husband, she is survived by her sons: Richard (Amy) of Tallahassee, Steven (Brenda) of Cumming, GA; brothers: Bobby, Joe; sister: Caroline; and two grandchildren: Scott and Yalani.
