Joseph Victor Paci, Sr. (83) departed peacefully into eternal life on July 22, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Joe was happily married for 59 years to Barbara Gelpi Paci. Devoted father of Joseph Paci Jr. (Julie), Gina P. Grunberg, James Paci, Janet P. Schluter (Mark) and John Paci (Anne). Nanu to Chad, Rebecca, Kenneth, Genevieve Allen (Dalton), Katherine Finney (Jonathan), Gabriela Capitano (Travis), Joseph and Christina. Great-grandfather of Colton, Patrick and Miriam. Preceded in death by granddaughter Baby Patricia and two great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother-in-law David Gelpi and many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Victor and Lucy Paci. Brother of the late Sebastian Paci and the late Verna Tallini. Born in Boston, MA (Go Red Sox) and lived in Metairie for 55 years. Joe was the nicest and sweetest man to everyone.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 6425 West Metairie Ave Metairie, La 70003, on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 12 PM. Visitation will begin at 10AM until service time. Private interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
