Clara Gelinas Obituary

Clara L. Gelinas, 92, a lifelong resident of Epsom, died Monday, July 24, 2017, at Concord Hospital following a period of declining health. She was born in St. Johnsbury, Vt. on April 3, 1925, a daughter of Albert F. and Beatrice M. (Wallace) Yeaton. She graduated from Concord High School in 1943 and Memorial Hospital School of Nursing (Now Concord Hospital) in 1946. She was a registered nurse in the Concord area for many years. She was then employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield where she retired in 1991. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Andrew E. Gelinas in 2005 and a brother, A. Glenn Yeaton in 1997. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Janice Yeaton; her nephews, Paul and Warren Yeaton of Chichester; many cousins and her dear friend, Darlene.

Clara was a lovely and sweet person; we enjoyed sharing a pew with her at the First Congregational Church of Pittsfield. She will be missed. Sincere sympathy to her family and friends.
