Judy L. Idziak, age 72, of Grand Rapids, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in the comfort of her home and in the company of her family. She was born in the summer of 1945 in Ypsilanti, MI to Wesley and Elna Johnson. Judy is preceded in death by her father as well as her brother Bob Johnson. She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, James Idziak and their children Jim (Tiffany) Idziak, Amy (Tony) Domanski and Jill Idziak; grandchildren Adrian, Walker, Vivian, Tony and Tommy; her mother Elna Johnson; sister Joyce (Dick) Kastas. Judy was a graduate of both Cedar Springs H.S.(1963) and Davenport College (1965). She was the proud co-owner of Chet's Nursery and an active member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Judy enjoyed cooking for her family and was an avid reader. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at St. Jude Catholic Church, (1120 Four Mile Rd. N.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49525). Visitation will be held at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 5 to 8 pm with the rosary being prayed at 7:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Way, Memphis, TN 38105).

Dear Uncle Jim, Jimmy, Amy and Jill~ So sorry for your loss. I will always remember Aunt Judy as the quiet peace maker amongst all the crazy Idziak brothers with a beautiful smile. She was a very beautiful woman with a big heart. I'm glad I got to visit with her and you Uncle Jim on her last few days here on earth. Heaven gained a beautiful angel! Love to you all!
