Rex Kenneth Hardin, 83 , of White, GA, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Hardin was born February 14, 1934 in Cherokee County, GA, to the late Mr. Joe Hardin and Mrs. Eva Mae Chitwood Hardin.
Mr. Hardin was an expert outdoorsman. He loved coon hunting, squirrel hunting and fishing.
Mr. Hardin is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Eva Mae Chitwood Hardin, daughter, Rexanne Hardin, and brother, Don Hardin.
Mr. Hardin is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sarah Jean Anderson, son; Kenneth Gerald Hardin, grandsons; Kurt (Katie ) Hufstetler, Trey(Renee) Mathews and Michael (Jessica Leann)Lewis, stepsons; Kenny, Anthony, Terry, Howard, Gary and James Bagwell, great-grandchildren; Dylan and Brendalyn Hufstetler, Levi, Arron, Camen and Rianna Mathews, Luke and Benjamin Eli Lewis, brothers; Jerry, Jack and Robin Hardin.
A funeral service for Mr. Hardin will be held at Owen Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, July 30, 2017 at two o'clock in the afternoon. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Canton, GA.
