Mr. Elmond Moses Lee., age 78 of Dunn, died Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield, NC.





Mr. Lee was born in Johnston County, NC on November 7, 1938, the son of the late Robert Edward and Kathleen Flowers Lee and is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Jackson Lee, his sister Linda Williford, and his brother Joseph Lee.



Moses retired from Goodyear with over twenty six years of dedicated service. He enjoyed gardening, music, vintage cars, and spending time with his family. He loved to share his homemade goods with his family, friends, and his church family at Second Baptist Church.



His Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Cox and Rev. Leon Tart officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery.



He is survived by:



Daughter: Kathy Holmes and husband Randy of Dunn, NC



Son: Edward “Bootie” Lee and wife April of McGees Crossroads, NC



Grandchildren: Molly Holmes, Sara Holmes, Jane Lee, Seth Lee and Owen Lee



Sister: Rachel Starling and husband Dennis of Dunn, NC



Brother: Sherrill Lee and wife Mildred of Dunn, NC





The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home and at other times at the home Rachel and Dennis Starling in Dunn, NC.





In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church, 701 Jackson Rd. Dunn, NC 28334
