Farrah Olia, 86, Geneva IL, Passed away on Saturday July 29, 2017, after losing her fight with cancer. She was at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 27, 1930. She was an elementary school teacher until marrying the love of her life Dr. Mahmood Olia in 1951. Farrah was a wonderful caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a generous, joyful, kind, faithful, wise, witty person and was loved by everyone. She is remembered for her sweet smile. She enjoyed music, cooking, reading poetry and being outdoor in the nature, but most of all she loved spending quality time with her family. Farrah is survived by 4 children Freidoon Olia, Freida Poustinchian, Farhad Olia, Farid"Moe"Olia, along with 3 grandchildren Brian (Sheila) Poustinchian, Christopher Olia, Daniella (Tom) Stimpson and 5 great-grandchildren Aden Stimpson, Lydia Poustinchian, Shanel Stimpson, Natalia Poustinchian and Lila Poustinchian. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two sisters. She is survived by a sister, a brother and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

I know how much you and your family loved and cared for your mother and I think she was very lucky to be surrounded by such a loving family.
