I just am stunned I just spoke to her in early July. I worked with Rosie at the bel cristallo in epcot center. We had the best time there working together she was so nice. We were the only two 'miricani there,ha. I wrote her on facebook several times and I knew something was bad, when she never responded. Im really sad but I thank God I met her and knew her for a time. Aunt Rosemary will always hold such a special place in my heart. She was the aunt that took me to Las Vegas---and Tijauana! She showed me around California---and Florida. She shared stories of her childhood, my mom and dad, my grandparents, our cousins, Rosendale, Astoria and our family. She introduced me to my Great Grandma's sister, Aunt Josie---an opportunity I would have never had without her. She loved my boys---spoiling them every chance she had. Our phone calls never lasted less than an hour. I will miss her so much. Loving memories of her will remain in my heart forever.

I met Rosemary when my parents the Wartski's, along with the Papia family, moved from Long Island to Central Florida. The Papias would visit the Torres family in Winter Park. My parents lived next door to the Torres so I was fortunate to meet Rosemary. I remember her as cheerful, a great conversationalist, and vivacious. I have not been in contact with Rosemary since our youthful days, however, I will always remember her. I send my heartfelt sympathy to all of her family. God Bless...

Although we haven't seen much of each other as the years have passed there is an emptiness in this family because of your passing. Rest in peace

My cousin RoseMary was the first born daughter of Rose and Victor Papia. She was 5th grandchild of Marietta and Salvatore Papia. RoseMary did not have it easy, yet she was so full of life and laughter. A real beauty and very stylish. She rocked style. She was always successful in all her endeavors and had a loving and generous spirit. Rose spoke fluent Italian, traveled the world, owned her own home and was devoted to our Italian traditions and upbringing. She was one of 3 sisters and is survived by her Wonderful sister MaryJane, her nieces and nephews, loving cousins and friends. We loved her, she will forever be a part of a strong and fabulous family connected by Papia ties. Never forgotten, forever missed. Linda Amaitis, Port Jefferson, NY

No words to describe the loss our family feels.i think of our childhood and the love we all felt for each other. In particular Rosemary had a wonderful sense of humor, and we were so lucky to have her in our lives. Rest easy Rosemary, my dad will joyously call out your name at the sacred reunion.

the sadness of rosemary's passing is so tangible--though we saw so little of each other in many many years, the closeness we
cousins always felt in our childhood and youth is a blessing that has truly lasted --
rest in peace cuz---
